I've been meaning to do something rpgish for a while. I'm going to do a warmup rpg this weekend (anyone else up for it? :) ), and hopefully I'll have thought of something decent for next week.
I'll probably keep everything within the 48-hour slot; I have several other projects that keep me busy at other times...
Looking forward to this :) |

Hello Farbs. Welcome to RPGDX.
I look forward to seeing all the entries :)
I'm still working my butt off trying to get my engine in order.
O_o its undergone no less than 4 complete transformations already, with more than 1000 lines of code having been re-written already.
The good thing about this is once the jam is over; I'm going to have one really sweet RPG engine at my disposal! _________________ Principal Software Architect

Haha, sorry, it must have been something I said somewhere, Increpare almost made the same mistake...
Well, looking forward to playing it :) _________________ http://www.distractionware.com

Heh, sadly no. This weekend I have a date with a beach house and a case of beer.
Actually I guess that isn't so sad. :P
Development on King Pong (my LoFi RPG) slowed when I discovered there was no deadline, but I'll post it anyway some time this week.

Hello! I found this via Terry's post on TIGS. I'd love to take part, but I'm super busy this weekend. However, I coincidentally already had a Lo-fi RPG game/engine in development.
I've got a minimal 48-ish hours design for the gameplay, so I'll try and post a build or at least some info and screenshots during the timeframe of the Jam. I probably won't have anything that could be called a game ready in time, but we'll see. Maybe I'll find a few hours on Saturday :)
Good luck everyone, looking forward to seeing what people come up with!

Reporting for duty!
saw this mentioned on the ludumdare blog and any timed game making event is where I want to be, and this one especially sounds liek a fun challenge. I want a shot at starting from scratch in flash and seeing how far I get, hopefully I have enough experience in rapid development to have something I can call a game by the end of it ^_^
also nice to find this forum, thinking maybe I'll hang with you folk some :)
anyhoo, I cant wait to make rpgs with you guys :D

Present and accounted for, via LD. I just happen to have a nice tile editor lying around, so I'll make use of that. Besides, it'll be a nice change, using existing code instead of ironman'ing it all out in a weekend (glances furtively at increpare and GirlFlash).
Not that I actually have any RPG-related stuff around, mind you. Cough. Hack.
Wheeze.
See you in #irc.
