I know its not 'great', but its usable.
check it out, if you want the source, let me know.

basically, it uses an 8bit palette principle to create the effect, in a byte-buffer, then renders the buffer to the screen.

code uses allegro, and requires alleg40.dll to run the example.

I owe alot of thanks to Torbj÷rn Gyllebring for helping me get my original code working. To use the code freely, you must give credit to both myself, and to him.


okay, new version now.


you can edit effects.ini with notepad to alter the dimensions
more configurations to come..... :)
