Having to battle your way to the top of a building or tower would be pretty cool and battle a boss at the top would mix things up a bit. :)

Radical, I'll have to check it out this weekend when I have time. Looking forward too it. The new art style is sick too, I really like the way this guy does his shading.

I spotted another low poly tree creator on GameDev.

This one is the Kraut Tree Editor, and it is able to do a large assortment of trees including cacti and palm trees. :D

Exactly they're easy to model, I was just referring to the context of the tree generator. It's a shame it can only do deciduous type trees, but I suppose you can't expect everything from a free tool.

Ok, I'll weigh in here and say I think this is looking really nice.

Yes some of the art as, tcaudilllg said, could be touched up a bit, but it's still in development so I'm sure it'll be ironed out ...

Awesome, though I have an aversion to playing emulated games. If I can get ahold of a TurboCD I'll totally pick it up. I need a TG16 for my copy of Splatterhouse anyway though hehe.

Looks very cool man, I'm not a huge fan of the original Lode Runner, but with some RPG elements I think this will win me over. :D
