That sounds mighty expensive... and does taking a game home mean I have to come over to the USA? :-)

Well, most games are $49.99 retail, so why do you think that spending that much for a game that you learn how to make is expensive? So far 78 people have signed up today (and this is the first day that it has been available!)

And well, if you're not in the USA, and not in Louisiana, then you're out of luck... cause I am the only instructor at the moment that is certified to teach the class.

What kind of game are you going to make in 2 hours? Cool idea though.

I wouldn't compare the price of a game created in 2 hours with a game created during a timespan of over a year with a team of 10 or more seasoned game developers. But for 2 hours of lecture, $40 just sounds rather expensive to me. I'm no pricing expert, but that sounds like a private session to me. In comparison, going to a university costs about $2 to $5 per lecture, I think (hoping I'm not completely off).

But of course, have fun with the teaching! If the class is a success, I can't say I'm not a little bit jealous. :-)

$600 a course
12 weeks per course
3hrs a week
bout 16 bucks an hour in Australian dollars.

That must be about 30 cents US :P

Id be thinking it would have to be private lessons. It would be hard to bring a class from scratch to PONG in 2 hours.

what level of university is that?

besides, we're talking america. everything is obnoxiously overpriced here and not even worth it in most cases.

I think i used the wrong word. Course = class.

Im doing Software enginerring and buisness. It goes for 5 years.
That is 10 semesters. And 4 classes a semester.

I don't know what exactly you mean by level but its undergraduate.
