Im working on an online rpg kinda thing. Currently its in multiplayer walk around stage. It's active turn based, like FF tactics mixed with the normal FF fight turns.

These two pics show off the isometric rotation i got goin on. 'Cept im too lazy to make the rest of the sandy changeover tiles.

The green bar is the turn timer. And the blue squares are your movement range.

Looks decent. Is the isometric rotation in 90 degree changes or smooth-through 360 degrees?

What else can you tell us about it, apart from being an online rpg kinda thing? I take it it's not really gonna be called 'Patrick Swayze: Online' :D

Be interesting to see the reaction you'd get if it was though!

It's 2d so the rotation is prolly going to disorientate anyone who plays.

No really, Patrick Swayze: Online. See the guy with no shirt, hes dirty dancing. Well, not really.

I'm thinking about running it with little 15 minute quests. Kind of like www.battleon.com where you can just jump in on a lunch break and kill some time.

Don't we love the universal tile graphics. Paint it green, it's grass. Paint it yellow, it's sand. Paint it purple, and it's carpet? Never mind though, I think you made the simple graphics actually look quite neat. :-)

I'm really looking forward to share a walkaround session with you one day. Maybe we can have a walkaround convention? :-)

It's real programmer art, i used the rand() function.

"I'm really looking forward to share a walkaround session with you one day" sounds like something Happy would say.

You're right. Now I have nothing to say. Thanks Bjorn.
