Jeez, I remember reading that one years ago, when I was really young. I used to think it was rather creepy, actually-- I remember that 'series' of strips and a sort of 'origin' bunch of strips showing a younger Garfield and how he was taken away from his mother were ones that I really liked for some completely intangible reason. They stood out for me and I'm not entirely sure why, it was very odd reading them back then. Intangible, like I said. Probably sounds quite silly. :p
