Hi everyone.

You may remember me from the project "Kambou: The Great Kanji Adventure." That project has been put on hold. I entered graduate school this summer and have since become interested in game development and language learning.

My newest project is called "Chinese Phonetics and Phonetic Fury." And, unlike my last project, it needs graphics. I need someone to do character a monster art. The game is 640x480 resolution.

For the character art, I need large pictures of characters (that will cover good portions of the screen) that will accompany those character's text boxes. If anyone has seen the dialogue scenes in a game like Disgaea: Hour of Darkness or Stella Deus, you can imagine the style I'm going for.

For monster art, I can work with a variety of sizes (enemies should be able to go up to about 200x300). The monster views will be face-on. If you have every played Dragon Quest/Warrior, you will recognize my battle system.

This game is part of my graduate studies, so I have a very strong impetus to complete it!

Hey IkimashoZ. Nice to see you around here again. A nice little project you have there, I would have liked to help you but I dont think I'm skilled enough nor have the time.

Thanks for the encouragement! I have high hopes for this project. I know what it's like to be hard-pressed for time, but you I'm sure that your art would really do the trick. If you do find yourself with some free time in the near future, let me know.

Hey, I remember Kambou from a long time ago!

You're probably better off looking for artists in art forums as I think most people who hang out here are mainly programmers. Good luck with your grad studies, though. I can imagine how much work you need to put into this. I hope you get a good grade!

I visit here regularly and I'm 100% artist, 0% programmer. :)

Don't have time to work for free though.
