Maybe some of you remember the famous glass balls on checkerboard planes images that made raytracing popular for a while last century.

Over the past years I've been experimenting with glass and crystal objects now and then. A few of the results I've now put online in my forum:

I assume that is what fascinates me in the glass objects as well.

Somethings I wonder if I can make the Sonnheim core a more magic and enchanted world. A "glass and crystal" themed tileset could suit there, but crystals alone don't really make a vivid world - maybe if used in small doses together with other elements.
