OMG Terry that pic is great! XD
*returns to busting his ass on his engine code*
.. I'm trying desperately to pull something that resembles a usable engine out of my ass with only 8 hours of time left before I'll be heading to sleep for 6 hours and THEN...it will be chaos as I try my hardest to pull some sort of game-resembling demo together over 48 hours.... _________________ Principal Software Architect

Well, I think I'm in too. I'm aiming very low, and so have high hopes that I'll produce something in the time allowed. This should be fun, and it's great to see lots of people getting involved.

And so it has begun...
Even though we're already into the contest period now I too am behind a little on my engine. Though I am confident with the simplicity of the engine that I will be working on game content by tonight.
I'd just like to say good luck to all those who are entering the contest. Can't wait to see all of the entries. _________________ Life is what happens while you're waiting for the stress to subside...

My coding went into a stagnation this past week due to me worrying about if I would have a work to go to or not anymore. The economic state has forced the company I work for to sack about 40 persons this year.
I didn't get terminated this time thought.
I do think that I cought some illness from someone because the first thing that happened when I came home yesterday was that I sleept for 9 hours, woke up and was awake for 2 hours, fell asleep again for something around 6 hours again :S.
Feeling a bit mushy so I wouldn't count on more than a walkaround demo from my part :(. _________________

Mine only runs on Linux 64 bit :P
I tried until I had a headache to get it running on winblows.
Fucking stupid ass mingw's implementation of the STL sucks ass!
..anyone have a recent MSVC with allegro 4.2, libpng 1.2.35 and zlib that works, and would be willing to build a winblows binary of my entry? _________________ Principal Software Architect
