that small sites are much more difficult to find these days? Does anyone know of a search engine that specifically cuts out the large sites like Gamefaqs, IGN, etc.? These days, I honestly hate to use Google because it's more difficult to find what I'm looking for. I miss the old days where when you typed in the name of a game, you got a list of fansites about it and Gamefaqs was no where to be seen, unless you typed "faq" along with the name.

Hahaha
No unfortunately its because of the dumb fucking SEO shit craze that the smaller sites really have no chance anymore.
You gotta dig deep to find stuff. _________________ Principal Software Architect

I remember the days when there were fewer assholes on the internet. Back when there were small sites, the communities were smaller, and although they may not have been as diverse, not all diversity is favorable. Nowadays forum trolls dominate, and they will argue with you for years.

It'd be nice to have an add-on or proxy which could remember your search setting for things like excluded sites. Then you could use the big engines without the chaff.
