I've started to write an article about "intuitive object oriented design". But I'm not quite sure if I'm making sense there, or if it's just an odd idea that will lead to problems for many people.

I've published what I have written so far:

Intuitive OOD

I'd like some feedback on the idea. If it's a stupid idea, the text will go to the electron recycler, if it's helpful for people I'll try to continue the article. Thanks in advance for your feedback :)

While we now have a basic idea of what is in the game, there are still some details missing. We have covered the question "What is there?", now let's focus "How are they?". We'll next make a list of adjectives for each of the nouns that we identified first:

That doesn't make sense to me. (I've made the part that doesn't make sense, bold text.)

There is no such word as riseable.

Its a good start for an article though, I'd be interested in seeing where you go with it. :)

I consider "object oriented" to be the exact opposite of "intuitive" so I guess I'm not much help here. :)

Hehe :)

I once was a big fan of OOD/OOP, then thought that procedural coding can do most of that, too, and might be easier, and then decided to freshen my OO design skills a bit ... the article started in that phase. Still I wonder if the things that I tell there make sense ...

@DevX

I'll try to correct the grammer there. "Riseable" will most likely be changed to "can be risen". THis will lead to a method and interface suggestion, which is very much the same as what I tried to catch with one word.

Thanks for the feedback so far :)

You should call it "Fully Object-Oriented Design." Because everybody likes FOOD.

Nice idea :D

But laziness got me once again, and I didn't even correct the mistakes yet which DevX pointed out a while ago. Ah well. Some day.

Edit: at least the suggestions from DevX are now included. But I have doubts if this is helpful for people ... it is really hard to find the right words, and if it is hard for me, it will be hard for a another developer too.
