Hi everyone, I'm a part time lurker who checks out this site every now and then. A little over 10 years ago I was involved in the then burgeoning QB-RPG scene. Like many, created a scrolling engine with npcs and dialogue and a very basic menu based battle system and didn't go far beyond that.
I was kinda curious if any "regulars" here remember that QB rpg scene of old.
I'm actually not sure when I will do it, but I would like some day to resurrect my qb rpg project. I'm not sure what form it will take, either. I have a strong feeling of nostalgia for qb, so I think I might use FreeBASIC, which I've toyed around with some. Seems to be fairly popular around here!

Absolutely -- I think a decent number of us have our roots (some of them, anyway) in that old scene. I know I certainly do. :) Tons of nostalgia indeed. Welcome!
