Intro and pre-alpha gameplay videos 12-30-13:
Intro
Dungeon gameplay
Boss fight
Hi Rpgdx,
I've begun on an NES homebrew which will be an action adventure. I know that's not technically an RPG, but I also know Lynn's Legacy was fairly well known in these circles so I thought I'd announce it here too.
New Project: The Legends of Owlia
We've already completed one NES homebrew, a platformer called Nomolos: Storming the Catsle.
I actually tried to create Owlia in QBasic when I was a teenager. I believe you can still find owlia.zip on a qb45 site somewhere. When appropriate, I'll try to remember to update this thread with more information about the game. If all goes well, it will be available on NES cartridge and also on the iphone app store.

Sweet, not a lot of people 'round these parts tackle retro consoles. Looks like it has tons of potential. Keep it up! :) _________________ If you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows. - wallace

You did the mysterious song for the PC engine right? (turbografx 16?) And, you did the original QB version of that as well correct? What a similar history! I tried to make this game in QB some years ago as well.

Yes, I did the PC Engine remake, and I was with the team that originally did the game (Darkness Ethereal), but I did not have a hand in the creation of the original QB version... only the remake. QB was all the rage for making RPGs back then, hehe. :) _________________ If you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices.
