So, over the last year and a half, I have been working for a games company which is very strict about its employees working on hobby projects. Frustrating as it is, it caused this project to be on hold.
Yesterday was my last day at that job, so now i'm getting ready to get stuck in again. I'll keep you guys posted (i realize that it might just be me and Tony still frequenting the site, but still...)

I am now making a couple of smaller games, probably for the rest of the year, before I'll consider picking this up again. Also, I am not entirely happy with where this was going, so I expect to be doing some rather big changes to it. It is still way too early to think about the audio side of it.
