Hi all. I'm still alive.
Working on something new.
C++ and SDL2. Nothing planned at the moment, just a small side-project that I'm working on in my spare time.

I've been doing Uber deliveries in Cincinnati... applications to grad programs... programmingwise... did a bunch of work adding decent debug functions to Neko Project 21 (pc-98 emulator)... I know that line like the back of my hand now... only interest in it is seeing 80s/90s games translated.

Thinking seriously about making a little game... one screen wonder, possibly. I've been thinking about it and I think an entertaining beat-em-up can be made with one screen. I remember managing to play through Batman on the Tiger LCD handheld back in the day. If say I made a brawler and added little power-ups to it, and maybe a shop or something... that might make the game better.

Hey guys. How are things?
I've done absolutely no game developing lately. Starting to feel the urge to create something. _________________

Hey BadMrBox.
I'm a full-time senior software engineer these days and I'm working on a relatively large-scale JRPG (based loosely on FFV in terms of scale and engine design) in my spare time.
(Not at all related to the last post I made in this thread, though some of that code was migrated into this project)
I am using C++ and SDL2 to build the core framework, and the game code is going to be written in Lua.
Target is desktop OSes so OSX, Linux, and maybe Windows if I can cross-compile or find a decent VM image for a quick build. _________________ Principal Software Architect

Hiya DevX :D
At least you are using the same tools as you did with your little sideproject :P. _________________
