- The overwhelming urge to begin construction of a 32-bit project finally got to me when I returned to class today for Summer term classes. I'm taking Java, and since I am already decently knowledgeable in it I didn't pay much attention to lecture today and instead jotted down some stuff for my AMP documentation.
- I'm currently taking the stupid approach of working simultaneously on several different projects, because there're times when I just don't want to work on something. Working on Unmei Densetsu has actually been fun, though, since I had an enemy I was given a little while back and I've begun implementing its stats and all that, but there're times when I just don't want to touch it. I'm almost forcing myself to continue working on it, which is difficult in the daunting task of sprites needed.
- Anyway, aside from all the content I'm trying to generate for my site, I'm working on the documentation for Angel-Matrix Plus, which is kind of like Angel Matrix, the scripting engine utilized in Unmei Densetsu, but with a billion more features and capabilities, and even revamped methods of handling the old stuff, AND it will be written in C++ (or whatever this .NET stuff is... whichever will offer me more capabilities with internet sockets and such). All I scribbled up today was how I am going to handle user-defined classes, and what the basic data types are. I also have decided on a number of support classes I will provide access to, including things like BigInt, Complex numbers, Fractions, matrices, arrays, collections, strings, and File I/O. It will have some of Java's behaviors, which is probably why I felt the sudden rush to return to documentation.
- I dunno, I just haven't had a chance to really flex my 32-bit skills yet... and I feel as though I'm falling behind everyone else. _________________ - Jaeda

- I really wish I knew what was causing that error you get. I know there's a chance that an error occurs with DS4QB++ when switching back and forth between LEGENDS.EXE and UDBATTLE.EXE which is NOT good... if this continues to occur I may have to figure out how to reintegrate the two exe's and work around the memory problem somehow else... =T
- But yeah, this Scripting engine and resulting compiler should provide the backbone for any 'complex' games I design in the future, such as a potential MMORPG. =T _________________ - Jaeda
