I'll field this question. The main title screen is actually a menu. Just press up and down and the options will change.

Janus, there are NO bug-free windows verges out there. I know there are lots of splinter versions that break compatibility and still don't work very well. Some work better than others, but trust me, none of them work as well as the original v2. This is not a situation where you can just put in one of the many winverge exes and hope it will run.
Vecna, the creator of verge, is busy making Winv2 work. It will be out soon. My advice is to wait if you don't have pure DOS/Win9x. Sorry, but it won't be that long.

(and ya, that intro is ugly as hell. The intro was a placeholder for a movie that never made it in)
