Almost every forum shows this.
In case of my own forum I was pondering to unsubscribe users who didn't post since a year (or maybe two) but I decided it'S not worth the effort. So I keep them, inactive as they are.

I think that alot of registered users are either in school, or working different hours than they had when they registered.
Perhaps once summer hits, more people will either post more, or actually have some summer-projects to unleash....
Anyway..development of Mysterious Song Remake is coming along very nicely. I've nearly completed the tiles for the worldmap...and as alot of people have said, "these tiles kick ass!"
Considering I'm limited to a maximum of 15 colors per tile, and the colors are limited as well (rgb values must divide by 32 evenly) I think that I have made quite an effort in making this remake the best remake of any rpg. :)
Tony: You gotta email me or PM me, something dude. we gotta get our WD project rolling, I only have til Thursday this week!! _________________ Principal Software Architect

I'm registered and lurk because I'm interested in the goings-ons of this place, but do not post because I am not a code wizard.

I still read every day, but I haven't been posting since I lost interest in the Shifter project. I really don't have much to post about these days.

Locrian... there's a name I recognise from somewhere or another.
It'd be kind of dissapointing if it was just these forums, but a long time ago :)
What I reckon would get this place moving is if people were more willing to team up with each other. No-one wants to make a game themselves 'cos it takes bloody ages, but then again no-one wants to spend loads of time on someone elses game. Yep, lots of the members have gone inactive and this indeed quite a common trend on any forum. At the moment 5%, or 27 members are logging in on at least weekly basis. We've seen busier times with that number being over 40, though. :-)

Probably pixelation. I use the name on some other, non-game related boards, and in online gaming as well though.

Probably because most of us are lurkers (like myself)...heh. I do drop a line every now and again though...the thing is (at least in my case) when I finally see a thread I find interesting it is either dead, dying, turning into a flame war or veering off topic...and any attempt to ressurect them seems at best an excercise in futility...But I'm not above trying :)..so i'm going to use this oppurtunity to do just that...So folks (all 10 of ya') please direct your worthwhile attention to the following thread...
http://forums.rpgdx.net/viewtopic.php?t=1095
P.S. The thread really starts firing after my post...
I know, I know..I have absolutely no shame...But check out this old thread. It's one of the few that churns those rusty gears of creativity...

I'm just waiting for a tiled release so I can start coding an engine... ;)
I'm a bit of a lurker, too, although I haven't been lurking enough lately to even be qualified as such. I've been out of RPG-land and stuck in DOS-hacking-land long enough; I need to get back to the important stuff (games, obviously). _________________ Don't ask no stupid questions and I won't send you away.

o.O I can only hope you are joking... Really, there should be a release... well, who knows anymore? I feel like posting a status! Here is the feature/fix list. (*) means complete, (+) means incomplete but coming. We need testers! (This means you, nephilim) Post, and I'll link the nightly.
* Added a checkerboard background to tileset palette
+ Added the Shifted view, which emulates several tiling configurations
+ Added "stamp" brushes
* Added support for layer locking (not editable when locked)
* Added support for tmx.gz map files
+ Added the ability to merge tile images when layers are merged
* Added selection addition and substraction via Shift and Ctrl respectively
+ Added ability to select multiple layers from layer table
* Improved the drawing speed thanks to some thorough testing and suggestions (Jerome Blouin)
* Improved transformation so that it respects selections
* Fixed the "Save As Image" feature to use current zoom level
* Fixed drawing on invisible layers
* Fixed selection rectangle to include one more tile
* Fixed loading of plugins that only do export and no import
* Fixed removing tilesets in the Tileset Manager
+ Fixed image loading to ensure hardware acceleration is used in Java 1.4 and above (Jerome Blouin)
* Fixed a NullPointerException when loading TSX files as imported tilesets _________________ We are on the outer reaches of someone else's universe.
