Ya... whoa... it's been a while since I've had a comment, I think it was many months ago I was banned from DB for my friend's behavior....

Anyways, I was just thinkin... MAN, Frog has been around only a few months and already his reputation has grown quite a lot. His skill and talent with pixel art is really quite amazing... do you think he'll be the next Tsugumo?

FRoG32 won't be the next Tsugumo...he is FRoG32, a clearly superior developer and person in general...he clearly doesn't have his head shoved far up his ass like a certain Canadian I know...

I was mainly talking about only the artistic talents of each...
Also, Frog is canadian too, ya'know. Tsugumo's real name is Jeff. I forget his last name.

I've noticed alot of Canadians as well. I was involved with another indie group and all seven members were canadian.

I notice alot of Canadians around here too. I know Xmark is from BC anyways. I'm from T.O, Canada.

OK...I don't know how many people got this email awhile back, but...

I got an email from someone (who knows, one of Jeff's lackeys prolly) for "professional game development". Okay, I get these often and I often accept them, and contribute to game projects, be it indie or pro. They are almost always professionally written emails, HTML-formatted letterhead and everything. They are addressed to me personally. This one I got from Jeff's lackey was different. A plain text email, which was a little odd but not too weird since some pro mails I get are in plain text. But what really made me laugh my ass off was it started out with some crap like "The skill of Nekrophidius has been assessed". ??? Gimme a fucking break. Hello? Addressing a letter in the third person? And using nicknames? And wanting to SELL YOUR SOFTWARE ON EBAY?!?!?! Three strikes...you're out, hosers! Needless to say, I turned them down with authority, writing an email back to them and discrediting almost every sentence in the email they sent me. I haven't heard from them since. I wonder if they ever got a business license, or if they were just another "QB company"...

In any event, it was worth a good laugh at the time, but now that all this nonsense has started up about Tsugumo again, it just makes me sad and sick at the same time. No offence to Ninkazu, but Tsugumo is not as great as everyone thinks he is. He's a washed-up has-been who is still waiting for his ship to come in...sort of like some other Canadian developer I know who gave up, abandoning his fans completely and forever sealing his fate as the whiney little Canadian that couldn't...

Long live the indie scene! And let those of us who remain dedicated to the art stand tall and strong, and bring this crusade to new heights! :)
