Before I begin, I'd like to say this is a SPOILER-FREE POST!
Yes, now that that's done...
I just saw Matrix Revolutions last night at the sneak preview... The theatre was packed, I tell you- This woman came in before the movie and said, "Welcome to the world premier of The Matrix Revolutions!" EVERYONE in the theatre screamed their throats out and clapped- Including me- Same with the opening title and end credits. It was adrenaline, pure adrenaline... The movie, that is. Like I said, no spoilers, but remember the pan-around scene from the first movie? Well they beat the crap out of it with a scene in this one. That's all I'm saying... Let me tell you, the 'bros REALLY outdid themselves this time, some people (like my brother) think otherwise, but I think it's the best in the series so far. Wraps everything up nicely... Oh, and after the movie some asshole drove by in his car and screamed out spoilers to the crowd waiting in line for the next showing... Man, I bet they were pissed.
Oh, and KEEP YOUR EYES OUT for a Tasy Wheat ad somewhere in the movie... I caught it right away, I was laughing my ass off cause of the context... Anyway. I'd better go before I ruin anything.

You should know by now that all the good movies get horrible reviews and the bad ones get great reviews. It's how our messed up world works.

it's also kinda how video games based on great movies work. great movies are, well, great, and games based on them suck.

Yay! That was an enjoyable 2 hours of my life. I, for one, enjoyed Revolutions. I've got a brief summery of my feelings on it written here. _________________ "...LeoDraco is a pompus git..." -- Mandrake

I really liked the movie for its visuals and action sequences, though one thing bugged me a whole bunch: why didn't the robots just drop a nuke or something through the whole? And why do none of the machines have long-distance weaponry? _________________ Mark Hall

Immediately noticed the "Tasty Wheat" reference... mildly amusing.
As much as I wanted to enjoy the movie, there were far too many plot holes left untouched. Far too many... and the dialogue, aside from the Oracle's and Smith's, was insipid at best; bordering on trite the rest of the time.
Action sequences were fine; I still enjoyed Reloaded a bit more.

I thought it was grand, brilliant, deadly! (practising some of my Irish exclamatory skills). I mostly enjoyed the great visual effects and the music, and thought the story was ok. Granted, a lot is left unexplained, but I'll accept that. As to why the machines didn't use a few big bombs... that wouldn't have been as much fun, would it?
Oh and... Tasty Wheat? Damn, I don't know what you are talking about. Probably means I have to watch it again some time.

from the first movie, when they're in the dinner hall eating that tasteless mush, and mouse is talking about how it could taste like Tasty Wheat or Runny Eggs or something... and how everything could taste like chicken because the machines don't know what chicken tastes like. I guess Tasty Wheat is a fictional cereal or something... Well anyway near the beginning of revolutions Neo is running and there's a tasty wheat ad on the wall behind him.

I saw Revolutions yesterday - except for some of the action scenes, it sucked major ass.
*SPOILERS AHEAD (highlight text to read)*
Reasons:
* Fighting while flying around looks so stupid.
* Keanu Reeves shows why he shouldn't be an actor (esp. when Trinity dies).
* The dialogue tries to be smart, interesting and a bit mystical, but fails miserably at all three.
The dialogues are the worst part, and I really have to agree with Maddox about Revolutions.
Neo: What do I have to do?
Oracle: You know what you have to do.
Neo: Where do I have to go?
Oracle: You know where you have to go.
Neo: What are you baking?
Oracle: You know what I am baking.
Neo: Where is the bathroom?
Oracle: You will know when you're ready.
Neo (looks uncomfortable): I really think I'm ready...
Oracle: You will have to seek it yourself.
Neo: Oh shit... *runs off to look for toilet* _________________ http://www.weeaboo.se
