Yes please! =)

My progress has been a bit slow lately, and all I have now is a small walk around demo. Not sure Ill be able to finish this even with an extra week, but it would give me hope =)

Fantastic, heh. It's great to even have one other person in favour of the idea - I was expecting some major opposition to it :)

This extension would make a huge difference to my game. I totally mis-allocated my time at the start.

I'm not opposed to the idea. Bjorn?

Another week would give my team time to test our entry.
If theres no extension, we're going to be rushing to finish.
We are 98% as of right now. The last events are being coded, (about 100 more to go) and then we're going to start testing.

There is an estimated 8+ hours of gameplay in our entry.

This has been the absolute best experience for me, and this is the largest project I have ever worked on. I could not have gotten this far without the help of my good friend Rafael (darkstarbane).
Many thanks to him for his long hours and hard work. And thanks to RPGDX for approving my request for another competition!
I've learned so many new things during the development of this game, and I'll certainly be finishing this game. (Only a demo could be completed for the contest, but its certainly long enough and filled with enough content for the month that we've spent on it!)

Alright...I'm heading back to finish coding as many events as possible tonight. :)

I wouldn't mind another week, if so I might be able to do a walkable demo with enemies attacks.
Sickness and pain has had me knocked out for the whole damn week. I can't report in sick at work but I have been working halftime this week so it has been a little help at least. My shoulder is still hurting the living crap out of me thought, problem is that it's quite insanely hard to get a hold of a doctor.
Getting a bit off topic. Well, I wouldn't mind another week ;)

Sounds like we've all had problems with either work or health during this contest. I'm no different - last night I was in the office till nearly 8 in the evening. I only got about an hour and a half of work done before the library closed...

How about we set the new end date to Monday the 19th? It'll give us the whole weekend to work on the games without worrying about having to submit by midnight on Sunday evening. plus monday is a public holiday here, heh.

Alright, there's five people here in favour of an extention, including me, so let's have it. I'm sorry to come back to this so late, I've been rather unorganized lately. The competition will now run up to March 19th. I've posted on the RPGDX's main page a little info on what I expect to happen then.

DeveloperX, I noticed you've already released a preview of your entry. A very nice achievement. I hope you still don't mind getting another week for some polishing.

Yey! Maybe I can actually release something worthwhile now.

Sweetness! :D
Nah, don't mind. I actually welcome the extra time to clean up the things that were buggin me. I released what I did because I didn't want to be disqualified in the event that there was no extension, since I was unsure that I'd be home for the due-date.

My team and I have worked extremely hard on this. We started from having nothing, to having 32MB of source code and several in-house tools that we can reuse to speed our next game's development. As well as more than 20 classes that make up our reusable library for games.

Alright, well if I've got 8 more days, then I'm going to stop posting, and resume coding ;)
