I've been busy with other things, so I've not been posting either. I barely even have time to look at forums these days, let alone post on them.

I've been fighting the damn login system for almost a month.
Finally managed to receive the password change / activation email.
For some weird reason the emails were being automatically discarded by a filter that I had NOT created. (Had to go and change my email account passwords too cause whoever it was that killed my site messed up a lot more of my stuff.)

Anyway, hopefully I can put all this shit behind me and be back to my normal self again.

mostly a lurker out here..

I have been away for a while from the entire gaming scene. I just have semi-completed version of a game done.

I want to create an RPG before i turn 40.. how cool is that?

I'm in a deep creative slump. All I can motivate myself to do lately is to at least scribble down an idea when it comes to my mind ... maybe some day the notes will come to use. Wintertime is better for home projects.

I tend to spend the little spare time I have on either The Mana World or Tiled. Of course, neither makes the level of progress I'd actually like to see. I've made a beta release of Tiled 0.7.0 yesterday though [1], with the final coming up later this month. It may however be the last Java Tiled release that I will work on, since I've secretly started over on a Qt 4.4 version in C++ [2].

I've been working on a Doom-like 3D Engine when I'm not working. As well as, a Tile and Scripting Engine for my Wife to make an RPG with.

I'm taking her to an amusement park Saturday though, so that's one day of non-work coding gone. :)

Yeah, it is going pretty good, I've got one tiny little drawing bug to quash and then I'll be good. But there is a bit of vector math involved with killing it, so I'm lazy...lol. The environment draws just fine except for one special case.

Here's an older shot:
