Quite on the contrary: the side projects are what's keeping me alive. If I had been forced to continue working on FB exclusively after demo 2, I'd be done with game development at this point ;)

I needed to sample some different material, that's why I'm finishing Frenetic Plus (a 2d/3d hybrid 3rd person shooter), and Cry Havoc (campaign-based tactical combat) this year. It's been extremely satisfying to work on these projects, and now that they are nearing their completion, I can return to working on FB all the time, as opposed to picking my way through it as I am right now.

I'm a bit stoic, and very determined, but not invincible ^.^
