I'm about an hour into Eschalon: Book 1 so far, having downloaded it late last night. I don't know if it will appeal to those who have their tastes firmly in the jRPG camp, but for fans of old-school western RPGs, it is looking extremely promising so far.
There's also a more extensive first impression writeup at RPGWatch that's well worth reading.
BasiliskWrangler - congratulations! Both in releasing this monster game, and in the quality it seems to be showing.
