some thickening on the fonts would be great I think. Overall, it looks great but 25% chance to get drunk from one beer...? Are the cups big? :P _________________

I'm hesitating between tweaking the kerning and making a fixed-width font for menuscreens, actually. We'll see how it turns out... :P

Don't worry, it's magical beer. :D The moment it spills over, a little leprechaun sprouts from the ground and kicks you in the nuts for wasting good beer. ...Come to think of it that doesn't solve the whole spilling issue.

You know it! This isn't some sissy half-filled tumbler, but a full-blown punch-bowl with handles! Best used in conjunction with the "pretzel" item.
Edit:
Made a few changes to the font. The letters' sizes should all be the same and the kerning has been increased by 1 pixel. A black border has been added around the letters for visibility (for instance, if the user picked a pale color for the window color.) _________________ Endless Saga

MUCH better readability. Good work.
One question: there seems to be two areas for the description of the item - why is that? Seems like you'd want to only have one place to look for the description. _________________ Visit the Sacraments web site to play the game and read articles about its development.

It looks like the top area is used to show a flavour description, while the side box contains in-game effects of the item.

Bingo. It also holds stat informations for equipment, and who can equip/use certain items.
The window placement isn't definit yet. I may resize some of them (I'm toying with the idea of moving the description to the side-frame along with the rest of the info.) Having more "meat" in there will help decide just how to organize the interface, but it's not like moving and resizing windows is any difficult. I'm rather proud of my window class. ;) _________________ Endless Saga

Overall the improvements look good, but the letter "i" looks a bit shorter than the rest of the letters and is kind of distracting.

That's been fixed, along with the g which was a little too flat, and the j which had the same problems as the i. I don't have anything too impressive to show off since most of the new stuff is under-the-hood organization, but here's a window controls test showing off vertical bar graphs and sprites of variable sizes.

The data for the characters is hard-coded, and I might go with portraits if I can make some, but 'ere we go. :) _________________ Endless Saga

I implanted a scripting system for my windows. The scripts are compiled and can be called with a single command, which sets up everything I need.
Didn't take very long to code, and it's making things much easier to manipulate. :) _________________ Endless Saga

Hey, RL. This is Unbeliever, but I'm using a different username... Anyway, I looked at the image closer, and some of the letters are missing lines, as are some of the numbers. And the three text areas at the bottom are overlapping. Is this something wrong on my computer, or is it not finished yet, or maybe on purpose?
And drunk on one beer? That is one BIG cup.
Edit: Oops! Ignore what I said. It turns out the image had been scaled down, and the lines were thin enough that the computer didn't bother to render them. And it's looking great.

Just showing off the cursor. TERRIBLE animated gif because I had to grab random screenshots and order them, them import them. I'm gonna write something to dump images directly. :P _________________ Endless Saga

Looks good to me. But is there a way to change the menu color? It's hard to see the bottom half of the hand because its shade is so close to the color of the background. _________________ "Sometimes it is better to light a flamethrower than to curse the darkness."

No; in fact the hand being white is just a test. I intend to make the font dark dark dark blue, the BG black, and the cursor will be removed. This will leave the user in a constant state of confusion as they attempt to figure out where the cursor is located.
Which is going to rock. ^_^
It goes without saying that the user will not have any control over the interface and that letting the user customize windows would be very bad design.
Seriously. :) _________________ Endless Saga
