I just got an email from "Disp<disp10@msn.com>" with no subject line. The body's contents said "new price" and it included a 5.95KB file called new_price.zip. It is highly likely to be some sort of worm or virus. Just a warning to anyone else who may have gotten this message or gets it in the future.

EDIT: Yup, as suspected, it's a virus. And it was just discovered today too:

It's not tremendously deadly but it's certainly going to cause problems for some people.

Like for my dad, who got an email from "eBay" with a zip attachment which he proceeded to open and run the executable inside.

The hardest thing I had to do was explain to my boss that the email he just received from the president of the company, containing the phrase "Hey bud, check this out!" and bearing a wholly unfamiliar attachment, was actually the result of a virus.

After a few minutes of explaining things like communication layers, sockets, ports, etc... he got that fifty yard stare, and said:

"But, it says here it came from xxxxxxxx." (Where xxxxxxxx is the name of the president of our company. Name withheld to protect the idiotic.)

I finally said "Look, has the president of the company actually said more than three words to you during the course of your employment? I see you're shaking your head. This is good. Why on earth would he actually email YOU... ANYTHING?!"

That got the point across.
