(A load of you might know about this already, but just in case...)

I picked up a copy of a Taiwanese RPG by Softstar a few weeks ago out of interest (I can't read a single character of Mandarin, but the thing was dirt cheap), and it got me wondering what other RPG's are out there that english-speakers are not seeing, aside from the untranslated Japanese ones that most of us know about anyway (Y's VI for example).

There's a couple of South Korean developers - Softmax and Grigon - who've released RPG's. I found the most info in english on War Of Genesis III and Magna Carta by Softmax than anything else.
Here's a mention of WOG3 (please excuse the acronym, for you PC types :D), with a link to some screenies:

A few others from Korea were Arcturus, Tempest, Rhaposody Of Zephyr, War Of Chunrang, and Narsillion. None of which will get a western release. Rhapsody of Zephyr did however get translated into Japanese for the Dreamcast, and has since had a PS2 remake.

I know there's a fair few continental Europeans here on RPGDX, do you guys have any domestic German/Swedish/French/etc. RPG's over there that the rest of us wouldn't have a clue about???

If so, are there any really kickarse ones that we should try and check out for interest/inspiration?

i have the same thoughts, i picked up some chinese game magazines when wandering around los angeles this past march. i have cds from them, with demos of games, but with my win2k english system things dont work. usually.

theres alot of innovation and great games coming out of the countries we dont see much of as americans. its great to see, and depressing not to get them.

tho, i've got some ideas from games of this nature. and i really want to complete some ideas for consumption by an english speaking market.
