OK, now I've had enough of Janus and Adam both. They have relentlessly attacked me--and my friends--and I'm saying, straight out, that whatever pattern of political operation they think they've gotta defend by attacking me and them, is dead. Definitely, decisively, dead. There is a new reality, and they'd better get with it.

No, I don't. Janus and Adam have both treated me very unfairly, and I know that they have a personal stake in the treatment somewhere, or they wouldn't be spending the energy. Whatever that personal stake is, they need to understand and accept, also, that it's not gonna be fulfilled. Whatever threat they think I pose, it's already there, so they should just learn to live with it.

This pussyblubbering of yours makes me want to tear into you too. The way you say things just makes people angry I suppose.

i've only been here about a year or so, its just steadily become less engaging as a board. really need to kick something into gear here else its just going to become another dead board you post a "new project" to once and awhile.

Heh. Or turn out the way The Cow or GDR did.

Hmm I don't see how the current situation is much different from how it's always been. There've always been misunderstandings, insults and fights over seemingly meaningless things every once in a while. When people post I always hope they are conscious about what they say, but it doesn't always seem the case.

I'll take that advice. Plus, we must all face the fact that sooner or later all the people that made RPGDX what it was at any time frame will leave. I mean, look at the people that were posting a year ago. Some of those people never post anymore, some don't even come here anymore. The board is a sum of the people active on it, and that sum is always changing.

yeah, Bjorn, but the signal noise ratio is going out the window. The fights had existed, but interesting conversations also existed.

I think it's probably just a natural thing- you can only talk about what makes an RPG an RPG only so much before it starts to die.

Yeah, eventually there won't be much new to talk about. Then when the new users talk about things, the old users will have already talked about them...

It's true that RPG development may not be a rich enough topic to sustain continued lively discussion, but that's not an excuse for people to act like children.

Of course, you can't stop people from acting like children, so it seems to me that the forum moderators need to step up while this forum still has some value. Clearly, if people are posting things like what started this thread, you have a problem that needs to be addressed.
