Welcome one and all to the second contest of the RPGDX music forum.

For this contest, you must take the following melody:
CLICKY
And put your own spin on it. It doesn't matter what you do as long as it features the melody as its main focal point. Basically, it just has to be featured prominently. You can even change the melody to suit your own purposes by transposing it, adding a couple of transition notes here and there or putting it into a different time signature. Just as long as it still strongly resembles the original it's fine.

The due date for this is exactly one week from the time this is exactly one week from now, though extensions are likely (this is RPGDX after all, heh) After that I will be accepting votes by Personal Messaging. Just select your top three entries like in RPGDX compo's. I'll add them up like 1st place is 3 points, 2nd place is 2 points, 3rd place is 1 point.

Go any direction you like, any genre you like, any instrumentation you like, any file format you like. Good luck!!

No responses or discussion or anything? I think maybe nobody likes the melody. If that is the case I could make up another one.

I like the melody. However, I can't think of anything to add to it right now. Besides, I have many other projects that have priority over this contest.

Im going to try to do something with it. Hopefully. Though it all depends on how much bullshit work school throws at me. Theyve got me drawing 'A's over and over at the moment. For typography class. What a load of crap. Its like kindergarten all over again.

that B and A# should be Bb. And D# is Eb. And G# is Ab. Bad habits from mod tracking eh?

I haven't even started anything with this yet other than fool around with in on keyboard for a couple minutes. Too much school crap to do. I vote to extend music competition duration to... ummm... 1 month. yeah.

Yeah, I think the compo should be extended to exactly one week after the first person submits something :)
