I just want to make a note that I visited FOSDEM this weekend, and it was awesome. Seen talks by Richard Stallman, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, Kernel developer Alan Cox, KDE developers, a GIMP developer, the main libxml2 developer, etc. It was very interesting to meet these people. I think about 1000 people visited FOSDEM. It's really nice to experience such a concentration of free and open source developers.
Here's one picture that shows me buying a T-shirt saying "Welcome to the GNU age!":

I thought the open source revolution was going to have longer haircuts. _________________ https://numbatlogic.com

Yeah, I didn't see as many long hair and bearded dudes as I had expected. At least Richard Stallman and Alan Cox were giving the good example.
