lol, You should know that I am to be respected. :D

Bjorn, Myself, and DrunkenCoder are moderators.

LordGalbalan is on my team, and is cool, yet has a very 'political' nature, and will start very long discussions about random topics. ;) (hehe, Tony, you know it's true!)

Nekrophidius, Nephilim, BadMrBox, and anyone else I know, that I can't think of their names at this time, are cool. :D

Welcome to RPGDX. Enjoy your stay.

You do realize it was a book before it was a movie, right? And that it was a radio show in the UK long before it was a book?

pfft. Books are so 1990's. Stone age man. Everything is moving media centric now. It's the bright vibrant future- and books are old dust monkeys we old farts cling onto.

Heh. Wait, no that's Bullshit.

What was I talking about again?

I don't want to be cool. Please remove my name from the cool list. Or I will be forced to fist you with a roll of pennies.

Five books actually, if I'm not mistaken. The movie failed to explain many of the points that made the books so good.

Perhaps, yes. However, the movie conveyed several things that the books, nor the radio shows, could possibly have got across better. The main example for me was the sperm whale; I've always thought that part of Hitchhiker's was hilarious, but actually seeing it made it even more fantastic.

That part was pretty funny and Marvin the depressed robot was great... who ever did the voice was perfect for the role. :)

It was Alan Rickman, probably best known for his role as the villain in the first "Die Hard" movie.

I liked the movie, but as a buddy of mine pointed out, it seems like they yanked some great lines when they would have been just as easy to leave in, and then added stuff that didn't add much to the plot (like the whole trip to the Vogon planet).

And it was *way* too easy to get the babel fish in the movie version. Heh.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but of course read the books.
I have always thought of Marvin as way taller, haven't you?
If you read the books you definitly gets that vision.
Anyone seen the old movie, by the way?

Actually, Alan Rickman is one of my favorite actors, and probably best known for one of these.
