Hi,
I've decided to release H-World under the GPL (gnu public license).
There is now a project at sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/h-world/
The sources in the CVS still contain the old header files with the old license info. I think they will be changed as files are updated during development.
Actually the whole project is now GPLed. Please ignore the old headers.
Project statistics and such seem to be updated with a delay only. CVS status says "0 commits" but all files are actually there.
If you want to join the project, please let me know.

Open source is nifty- so, um, congrats? You might want to post about this on slashdot- something like Open Source Rogue Game Maker, or Make your own Rogue-likes with a new open source tool. Or something.
ps->
your sig- change <a= > to [url= ] and </a> to [/url], and get rid of the "". _________________ "Well, last time I flicked on a lighter, I'm pretty sure I didn't create a black hole."-

The decision opens a lot of options, yet the project is currently more dead than alive.

Is my current sig a serious problem? I don't know if your suggestion will work with the image being part of the link?

Naw, you are using HTML instead of BBCode. Here is what it is:
Code: |
<a href="http://h-world.simugraph.com"> H-World CRPG Engine:<img align="middle" width="128" height="96" src="http://h-world.simugraph.com/images/cellars_036__small.jpg">
</a> |
and here is what it should be:
Code: |
[url=http://h-world.simugraph.com] H-World CRPG Engine:[img]http://h-world.simugraph.com/images/cellars_036__small.jpg[/img]
[/url]
|
See?

That's because SourceForge's trackers have been off-line for a while now. It's the same with my project: Allacrost @ SourceForge. See, my CVS also says 0 commits and if you look at project activity statistics, it hasn't been updated since January 2005. :P
Anyway, good to hear you open-sourced your project. =D Good luck! _________________

Thanks! Currently I have a serious motivation slump, I'm doing anything but code or paint. But I have a few ideas that I want to try some day :)
One thing that is fairly important, but very boring work is to simplify some of the internal structures, particularly the monster (and item) body data. It's unneededly complex and this causes additional work and also caused a fairly high number of bugs.

Personally, I think this looks better:
H-World CRPG Engine:
All I did was add a linebreak after the colon (BB Code version). (In HTML, it would obviously be a BR-tag.) _________________ "...LeoDraco is a pompus git..." -- Mandrake
