yeah, that's pretty sweet-looking.
Here's something else impressive:

Although the jury's still out on whether that's a pre-rendered cinematic or actual gameplay footage. _________________ Mark Hall

I found the FF7 tech demo to be utterly boring and unimpressive. They chose one of the most boring parts of FF7 (the intro) and didn't do anything other than up the polycount and texture quality.

But they took an old idea and up'd the poly count and texture quality. You have to be impressed by that, it's the basis of every next gen game. _________________ https://numbatlogic.com

The new zelda definately looks great. It looks more like the NES zelda's felt (ie: more medieval and less cartoony). Not that cartoony zelda is a bad thing, I loved the snes zelda and the GBA ones and windwaker. _________________ "Well, last time I flicked on a lighter, I'm pretty sure I didn't create a black hole."-

watch it again. notice how the vehicles bounce on the road, like as if they hit a pothole? How about the particles? Notice that the clothes on some of the poeple will bounce as they walk. Listen to the music. Definately not the same 16-bit quality they used in ff7. (The music doesn't sound as good as it should b/c it was recorded on a cameracorder at E3. Gamespot has a version with better quality music.) Maybe they chose one of the more boring scenes, but they added some nice stuff that, while most people would probably miss, really helps make the atmosphere in the game. _________________ Adosorken: I always liked slutty 10th graders...
