I don't know how wide spread the news is, but Kids of Karendow and Phat Games are returning to the independant game development scene. Thanks to the invention of FreeBasic, Kids of Karendow will see the light of day the way it was meant to. In a couple of weeks I will be releasing a version of KoK compiled in 32 bits as to overcome many of the issues people had with the original (many people needed to download certain DOS emulators to play it in Windows XP such as VDMSound). Once this has been released, the project currently titled "Karendow Revisited" will begin. This project will include some sweeping changes to the look of the game as well as the addition of more minigames, enhanced graphics and the entire originally planned story for the Karendow games will be in it(you will play the story for Chapter 1 and 2).
There will be more news as it becomes available.

There is the possibility of a Linux version of it. It's not number one priority for us right now, but it would be nice.
Unfortunately we do not have a website yet. I will get around to getting us some more webspace in the near future.
In other great news, the conversion into FreeBasic is going great and will be done soon. Once that is done, we will rerelease the original compiled in 32 bits and then start on the new Kids of Karendow game.
