This workshop will teach the basics of game development using the C++ programming language, and the Allegro game development library.
We will be creating a breakout clone game during this workshop.
The workshop will be held via IRC in the NOGDUS chat room: #nogdus on irc.afternet.org
The workshop will run from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM US Central Time
Attendees should have the following:
* An interest in learning to create games for the PC.
* Knowledge of the C++ programming basics.
* C++ Compiler (I will be using the GNU C++ compiler, g++)
* Patience, and 3 hours to spend without leaving the workshop.
Attendees can not leave the workshop for any reason.*
You MUST register for the workshop by sending an email to nogdus@googlegroups.com
* If you have to leave the workshop before it is over due to some emergency (that is, not "I'm going to go play Halo/WoW/insert-game-of-choice-here") then I will be happy to have a repeat workshop to fill you in on what was missed. _________________ Principal Software Architect
