Alright, well the four of us have all been rather busy with our lives rather than with the competition entry in the past 6 weeks (not an uncommon pattern, it seems). On top of that, we lacked careful planning of what exactly the game should be like. We plan to finish this game as time allows in coming months, but here is a small look at the current state just to make sure people know what we've been up to anyway. :-)

Preview release:

http://bjorn.platinum.linux.pl/oads-wip-20070320.zip (18 MB)
http://bjorn.platinum.linux.pl/oads-wip-20070320-nomusic.zip (5 MB)

The zip includes a Windows binary and the source code for those who'd like to try compiling it (tested on at least Windows, Arch Linux and Ubuntu). The game also seems to run perfectly fine using Wine.

I'm currently downloading it, but it's quite slow. I'll let you know what I think once I play it!

BTW, I've personally got no objection with including the preview as a submission, especially since only three out of 14 games made it. It's probably still Monday the 19th somewhere, heh. (That is, unless you don't want it voted on...)

The screenshots look awesome, by the way!

Yes, Modanung and Olof were good enough to give us plenty of content to work with, it was Bjørn and I who were deficient in our work. We plan to go on and finish, after going back to actually look at design.

EDIT: I see the 'Bjørn' filter no longer works...

Yeah, I had to disable it cause it was also modifying URLs. Crappy filter...
