Both these songs were made as entries for the Original Music Competition over at:

From May 2006 (holy crap, it's been that long already?) the theme was to write an idea for a movie and then compose a soundtrack to go along with it. I wrote a little introduction to a zombie action movie called "Civil Disturbance".

I shared first place with one other contestant for the song itself but got 2nd place overall.

This other one was for Pop Songs month. Basically the theme was to make a radio-friendly pop song. I took first place with:

I actually saw these on your site recently-- The soundtrack sounds really professional, reading it along with the story was really cool. ;)

Not much I can say about Piece of Heaven, it does indeed drip with an enormous amount of cheese, but it is well done. That kind of contradiction isn't too easy to achieve. :p

The soundtrack for the zombieflick is really good and about the other song; it's not wrong to be cheesy sometimes and you sing helluva better than me. :)

Yeah, I too heard this stuff at your site. :)

Piece of Heaven is obviously a pretty personal song - bravo. I wouldn't have the guts to release something so personal onto the web for all to see like that, heh.
