Alright, its now the time for the gang of my little project to work on the website(s)
The thing is, we have two games under the "studio" name, one of them being a very early developed (computer wise anyway, i used that setting in tabletop for years and it got very detailed with time) for a web based rpg
The other, for my action/rpg which is our main priority, Ius Dei, which I talked about before.
Now, we're soon going to look for new members but first, following some advises from here and other places, we'll make it more "public" using the website.
I'm wondering if I should start with the "Studio" website, or the Action rpg website. Since I already have the design of the other game, thats all good, but we're having pretty much of a blank page syndrome for the two other sites.
Any ideas? _________________ I'm just too lazy to make my own sig ;)

Well, you could use the 8-Bit D&D theme. Old RPG site standby. Very good if it's done right.
Hey, that reminds me. Did Adam ever get RPG-Dev.net up again? Eh, whatever. Start with a studio website, not a game site. Game sites are everywhere (www.battalionwars.com, for example) and no one ever goes there except for the real geeks (me) who have nothing better to do than Google their favorite games. _________________ "Sometimes it is better to light a flamethrower than to curse the darkness."

I would start with the main site. Personally, I'm not to found of specialized sites for games in general.
RPG-Dev.net is still half-finished and still looking like it has been since he changed it from the other style.
Damn, I really got to fix up my RG site and my personal site... _________________

If you have a logo, that could be a start to build the design upon.
Otherwise, the name of the Studio could give ideas? If you specialize in a certain genre or type of games, you could draw inspiration from there.
Otherwise, if you have a message for the people, try a design that communicates the message. Save the world? Either chose "devilish" black and red or "angelic" blue and white ... if you want to tell about your technical skills, try a steel/glass theme ... or something :P

well, so far the two games we're working on are pretty dark and creepy, but I wouldn't want it to be just that.
Studio name is : Pandora Games, and I though about using a box for a logo (the whole Pandora Box deal, since most of our games are horror based, it would fit)
So, I should try to keep the studio design darkish? _________________ I'm just too lazy to make my own sig ;)
