Has anyone come across the C++ FQA before?

Link: http://yosefk.com/c++fqa/

Basically, this guy rips apart nearly every line in the C++ FAQ and bashes C++ in every way he could think of. He claims not to be trolling, but I think otherwise.

Although I think most of the text is just his long windy repetitive rant which could have been summarized in shorter sentences, there are definitely a few points in the FQA that I found myself laughing to myself because I knew how true it was.

Quite an interesting read. See what you think.

Only read the first couple of entries.

The purpose of the C++ FAQ is not to convince people to use C++, but to explain how to use C++ effectively. I think it does an adequate job of this, although I don't agree with it on every point.

This guy seems to have a beef with C++ itself, and tries to take it out on the FAQ writers, which is completely unhelpful to people who have already decided to use C++.

C++ isn't a perfect language, as the FAQ acknowledges. However, I can't think of a single competing language that beats C++ in the areas in which it is strong. (For the record, I am familiar with C, C++, PHP, Java and Python, and have at least a passing knowledge of Scheme, OCaml, Haskell, D, IO, C#, Pascal and Basic. I use C++ and Python regularly. Out of these languages, OCaml and D are probably the closest to being able to compete with C++ directly.)

wow...someone sure has too much time on their hands...let's go steal some

but in all seriousness he does make a handful of valid points, but on the other hand, he does not come across as someone who has done any real programming either.
