I woke up from a nightmare in which all my previous gfs told me that I would die alone, pennyless, homeless, and loveless.
Then I check my email and read that my current gf no longer wants to be with me.
I then find that my mom doesn't have another contract to pay the bills, so we may lose both our places.
I checked my bank account and I'm running into the red area...like less than $50.
I guess that the nightmare was a reality.
I truly just want to die.
I've had thoughts of suicide from slitting my wrists to suffocation to throwing myself out the 2nd story window and electrocution.
Though I just don't have it in me to actually do it. I still want to die.
Its like every time that I think for the slightest moment that anything will go right in my life, it all falls to pieces.
I'm stuck on this damned couch because of a freak skateboarding accident, and my whole world is crumbling around me.
I'm breaking the law using my laptop to write this, because some dickwad decided that it should be illegal to use someone else's wifi connection without permission. So I could end up in prison for merely writing a message. How stupid of a world this is that I live in.
I've had my heart broken several times before..but this time is the last. I simply cannot endure anymore.
I honestly thought that things would be different this time. I was wrong.
Here on this couch I shall sit, waiting to die, since there is now nothing left in this world for this poor miserable man.

The world doesn't care how we feel or how we do, it keeps turning. This sounds merciless at first, but then, it gives us a new chance each day, to change things or try something new.
I don't know how bad that skateboarding accident was, and having no money means you need to work on changes soon, a really bad combination. But you, too, will get a new chance some day if you don't give up.

I am very sorry to hear you're feeling that way. Nothing is ever so bad that you must give up. I've had some really tough times myself, but have always found the resolve to keep moving forward. If each day you are able to find one good thing that makes that day seem just a little better then the last you will find that soon you will feel a whole lot better. I had some personal loss today myself, but am finding comfort in those close to me. So find that "good thing" each day, and don't dwell on the negative. Keep plugging away at it and please get to feeling better.
Hope you cheer up soon. _________________ Life is what happens while you're waiting for the stress to subside...

I'm still not anywhere near being out of the financial bind that I'm in, but I'm at least over the loss of my gf, and am not really suicidal at this time. Things still look bleak, but I'm at least over the healing process from that skateboarding accident.
I've been putting in applications everywhere I can.
I've been responding to every ad on craigslist that I can.
I've made $70 from an old client, and I'ev cold-called all my past clients, and no one else has anything that I can do.
So I held a garage sale, and the goal was to make $800...we made $200.
It doesn't do any justice.
In other news..I'll be 25 tomorrow...
scary thought. _________________ Principal Software Architect

Late much, but a happy birthday from me too. I have no idea how to help with your other problems, though, so I can only wish that you get lucky again, with a new job or other opportunities.
