Let's have one!
Now that the forums seems to work again, how about another mini-compo thing, maybe a 48 hrs one or whatever? I have no ideas for theme though :P _________________ www.mattiasgustavsson.com - My blog

Mechanic: Side Scroller
There aren't enough side scrolling RPGs.
DeveloperX, I like the idea of mini games; however, 48 hours barely allows enough time to develop a single idea, so I don't know how successful people would be creating multiple mini games.

Hmm, sidescroller sounds strangely appealing... :-)
And it doesn't have to be 48 hrs - we could make it longer (especially if we go for the mini-game theme, I think) _________________ www.mattiasgustavsson.com - My blog

I'd join in for a side scroller. What are the rules?

Hm, sounds like fun. :) I approve of this "side scroller" idea.

I suggest the usual rules - the actual game is done on compo time, but tech/engine can be done before it starts. Any programming language/tools/platforms. Collaborations allowed of course. Anything else? _________________ www.mattiasgustavsson.com - My blog

Yeah, the usual ruleset will be sufficient. I don't think we need to add anything to them. _________________

I must say I'm interested too. Any thoughts on when it would be?

I've been looking for a chance to jump back into the fray here, and I may be interested in this one. But I have a horribly busy August coming up so it depends heavily on the timing.
