Good stuff, thanks :-)

I got the dungeon pack from frogames a good while back, and can very much recommend them. Excellent stuff and they are very helpful people.

Here's another one, though I don't have any first-hand experience of these:

I'm pretty sure Tinalu is a bot as he/she/it posted the same exact thing on another forum I frequent.

..uh I think that was stupid.
It was useful information at least for some.

I was very torn between "Kill the spam" and "that's actually useful spam". But I guess we can ask Mattias if we need the links, he seems to know the shops.

That's hardly the point.

I'd have saved the post contents, deleted the user + ban them, and then re-posted the content. But whatever.

.. real cute Terry :P

My only point was that the content posted by the bot was useful information.

Keeping the information only spreads their capitalistic ideals. ^o^ ...And I guess it promotes more spam.

No - it was actually (to me) germane to what we're doing - low-priced indie 3D graphics from multiple vendors. I thought it was just someone trying to be helpful.

Again, that's hardly the point. If you're looking for something, anything, is it a good idea to get it from a passing spambot?

Not saying that - just saying I'm very naive and it totally had me fooled. Looked like a post I might make.

Yeah it's strange Spambots seem to be posting more generally useful or generally convincing posts as of late. Soon they'll become self-aware and then we'll really be in trouble. Like one I encountered posted a general post that was vague but it was convincing enough to fool some people that didn't look at this sig. This one was even more convincing so it's scary.

I suppose since we have this topic we may as well make lemons into lemonade.

So in case you were wondering since FPSCreator's creators are celebrating their 10th Anniversary they're giving away some model pack for free.

Like this one, Urban Model Pack

I'm not sure if they're in a generally useful format, but they may be useful to somebody. I don't use FPS Creator or their model packs I was just told about. So maybe somebody can get use out of them.
