Day one!
I don't know what I'm doing! I have a few inklings of ideas, so I guess I'm just going to poke at code for a while and see what emerges. In the past, this has not exactly been a fruitful strategy for having a finished game at the end of a given time frame, but I'm nothing if not ever-hopeful.
These are all just placeholders. I think.
So far: Talking NPCs! Animated sprites! Walking around! (To wit: stuff I should've had working before before the compo started.)
More tomorrow!
