Don't worry, I'm still here until the end of December but, well, it's all explained in my latest update. _________________ Mark Hall

BOUGE! KATIMAVIK ;) Although I was a little frightened of how the "English" arrow on their site flashed like mad when I held the cursor over it, heh...
Anyway, it sounds very cool, XMark! Oh, and mail me the cat suit before you go...my husband seems a little attached to it. Maybe I can placate him by wearing it and pretending to be a Canadian guy, heehee. :D

woo! I finally got a phonecall back and the date that I'm leaving is January 8, 2003. Not sure where I'm going yet but in three weeks I'll get a package that explains everything. Well, guess I should sign up to the Katimavik forums and start getting to know my future buddies. _________________ Mark Hall

Lucky tosser, heh... actually, I know a girl doing a year out in Indonesia, she seems to be having fun (and not being blown up).
I've thought of doing one of those, but I noticed that most of them sent you somewhere hot and hell, I find British summers painful to work in :) I might go to somewhere northern like Canada or Sweden or something; it is indeed the kind of thing that looks very good on your CV :)

Just thought I'd give yall an update. I figured out which places I'm going. First is Quesnel, BC (that's northern BC, in January so it'll be as frozen as hell). Then Lorette, Manitoba (I think that's a French place) and it will end in Tweed, Ontario. Any of you guys situated close to any of those areas?

I live about 37.85km from Tweed... or so MapQuest tells me. So, figure, it's about a 25 minute drive to there from here. So yeah, you could say I'm situated somewhat close. :D _________________ "Goth is a way for ugly people to be interesting."
