Holy Moses!
BadMrBox gave me the hot tip that I should post my game here in this fine forum as I see now.
You can download the latest version from website:
http://catbone.freebasic.net/games/witchcraft-adventure/
If you are interested you can get the 1.0 Source Code (FreeBASIC) here:
(scroll down a bit)
http://games.freebasic.net/competition3.php
And tell me what you think!! That is most important to me, feedback. What would you improve? What do you like most?
"Witchcraft Adventure" is a game made from my "Witchcraft Engine".
In brief the game is a combination of Dungeon Master and any
top down RPG engine combined with some "popular" features (see below).
The main difference to other games is that, when you die you will
become a ghost and the engine changes. That way it keeps the fun up
and makes it more diversified.
Features:
-Ghost mode! When you die you don't have to restart! Holy Awesome!
As a ghost you have certain limitations to interact with the world
but other features as well, like walking through walls!
The only question is... how to get back to life? ;)
-A weird storyline and 5 Levels that should give you approximately
30 minutes to 1 hour of gameplay. This version is specifically
made for the FBGD Gameplay Combo Competition. No time to make levels.
-The usual RPG stuff: fighting, teleporters, items, eating, drinking,
talking, quests, drugs, chicks, explosives, jokes, a bunch of secrets and
even more items.
-Map editor and extensive object editor! Make ye own levelz (if ye can).
-Movies! OK it is just one movie. But the engine counts ;)
-I just say one word ...ONE WORD ...DUNGEONKEEPERDWARFFORTESSMINECRAFT!
(don't expect too much though.)

I patched ver1.1 to ver.1.4 for the 2x effect but the game crashes alot now.
It's very random and can occur at anytime :(.
Edit: I downloaded ver1.5 from your site. It's much more stable but it seems like it crashes at the freebasic logo if I enter fullscreen. _________________

Haven't played it yet, but it looks like you have some cool ideas in there. _________________ Tales of the Rampant Coyote - Old-School Game Developer talks Indie Games, RPGs, and the Games Biz

Yea there was a memory overflow in 1.4 when played in 2x scale.
But is is fixed now in 1.5
It seems that there is a bug when using Alt+Enter in WinVista/7.
I try to fix that in the next patch.
