OK so I figured I should probably make a dedicated thread for this to keep it apart from the other one. :)

OK so here's some more recent screenshots.

Neither this enemy nor this particular area of the game exist in the original version.

The game can be played in French now as well.

Original version. :)

EDIT: I don't know how well the original version would work on today's systems... might have to dosbox it to get it to run properly... though that might not work too hot either since it's a disk-access-heavy game...

Yeah, tragically the game doesn't DOSBox well at all, which essentially means it's lost :( The problem is the fades, which work at like 1 frame per sec for some reason.

It would be entirely possible to port the original version to FreeBASIC in just a few days... maybe I'll take that on once the final beta test of the remake is running.

I was about to suggest that.

Dunno if I've posted about this before but oh well. :) The remake has an extra game built onto it to give it replay value... it's a whole new subworld with a few new enemies and an alternate final boss, which means also an alternate ending. Most of it is made up of random dungeons. :)

Thought I'd temporarily resurrect from the dead, and just say wow! From the older beta I played, to the new screens, and the youtube stuffs, this looks amazing!

I'm glad you kept it alive. Much thanks, to you and your team!

Hey Matt, you're more than welcome to the beta version, if you'd like. Let me know anytime.

I think I remember looking at the old one. And it's good to see you again, Nodtveidt.
