I always like to annouce when I leave a place, rather than just withdraw. Just my style. Well anyway, goodbye RPGDX, I'll have to discuss my rpgs elsewhere. As Mandrake said, this is his site which he pays for, and anyone who doesn't like the way he runs things should just leave. So that's what I'm doing.

entivore, you're being totally unreasonable. Mandrake's rules are for good reason. Besides, what's not to like? i mean, the rules are no more strict than other forum rules.

I probably missed the part where Mandrake tells you not to do something again. I don't understand why you're leaving at all. In my experience, Mandrake is very generous in paying for this service and not at all too restrictive on it's use.

Though if you're really serious, good luck on future projects.

Good point. There seem to be more emotional difficulties on this forum than on others I visit, and all the others have smily pictures enabled. :-)

For me Mandrake is a bit of a personal hero, I've always enjoyed discussing with him, he's always taken critizim in a good manner and tried to understand my point, and also pointed out flaws in my own arguments.

So I really have a difficulty understanding why someone would leave this pleace because of him, with that said I really don't know why 't'was so long since I last set a foot here... I've really missed you guys I'll have to remember to visist here more often, take care :) hope some one still remebers me...

actually, i've almost never used emoticons.

but, if there would be a home on the web for me, it'd be here.

let me review some of the rules/handicaps.

1. no swearing.
2. no emoticons.
3......
4......

actually, those are the only rules i know. how can entivore say that he doesn't like the way rpgdx is run?

just as i said!! there are almost no reason you'd not like it here! and anyways, i think that that rule would be the main one on every board!!

the only reasonable conclusion that why entivore left would be this simple formula:

entivore = @$$

if entivore disagrees with this, he should say something, because that's the only (logical) reason i think entivore left.

Since my account wasn't deleted, I might as well take the time to respond.

First of all, who says he told me not to do something again? My decision was an emotionally neutral one. Too bad I'm rescinding on it, makes me look like.. I dunno. I wasn't scolded and then pissed if that's what your thinking.

Now as for Barok, geez. I wasn't being unreasonable. I have the right to leave if I want. The only thing unreasonable is that I came back for today after saying I was leaving. Course I didn't say for how long, so I guess I'll use that excuse to claim I'm not a liar. Course I am a liar, cause here I am and it's obvious that I meant permanently :P. You on the other hand, calling me unreasonable, insulting me, etc. after I left. Well, I think it's pretty obvious what I think of that.

If you *really* want to know the reason I left, email or pm me. But if you don't care, I don't care enough to bother trying to explain it. Any quick answers would be misinterpreted.

Entivore, no hard feelings. I assumed I missed something but I guess I didn't. As Mandrake said, I'm in charge now but basically the same rules apply in this forum as anywhere on the world where civil people roam, but I won't be playing the little police man* (not trying to suggest Mandrake ever acted like one).

*) For those who frown their eyebrows on this one, it's a direct translation from a Dutch saying.

yeah....xmark was much better as a moderator....poor xmark, now wandering across the frozen wastes of canada...heh. I never really policied much, but i do know of the instance entivore is talking about....and that happened in August so why he is leaving now, i have no idea.
