Finally, I got started on my text game. With so much going on, I had to wait. Here's the status.
Got the Temp. Setup done. This will be okay until I find something Better. (it currently if white boxes.)
Got the main-text processor up. it works seamlessly, and is semi-smart as well. it displays the text one letter at a time, and the time between each letter is roughly 1/5th of a second between each letter. I'll make it adjustable later.
I'm gonna discard the whole "input text" concept. I might bring it back and people can choose between choosing normal input or classic. it'll take lots of coding though.
I also got a very bumpy Menu system up. Currently it's very rough, and i'm definately not going to use it in my final product. You literally got to pound the keyboard before it changes.

Just thought up something different for a battle system. It will be turnbased, but you can choose in a battle options menu whether to attack physically berserker, hard, med, or powderpuff, and same with magic. Berserker does the most, and powderpuff does the least. However, there's a catch.
I was thinking of a new meter, the Energy Meter. Each time you attack or use some special attack, the meter goes down. the farther down it goes, the less you do (because you get tired) The only way to regenerate this meter is to use spells, sleep, or wait a few turns. Oh, maybe this'll replace my hp meter. Enemy attacks might take off some points from this meter as well. I haven't decided whether they should or not. Basically this is the all purpose meter. For me this might replace the hp and mp meter.
Tell me what you guys think! I was thinking of having this as a third meter, but Maybe this will be my only meter. It will definately add some strategy to my game. _________________ Adosorken: I always liked slutty 10th graders...
