PostPosted: Fri Apr 04, 2003 11:57 am    Post subject: It's finally over [quote]

For those of you who don't know...my former fiancee and live-in companion Shelley Vogel passed away on Sunday, March 30th 2003. I have not been around because of that. The funeral was yesterday followed by the burial so the ordeal is over as far as that goes...hence the subject of this message. Hopefully soon we get the results of the autopsy. Right now the findings are inconclusive so we have no idea how she really died. At first they thought it might be a blood clot to the heart but if that was the case, we'd know already. Most everyone agrees though that it was without question her time to go...she had been sick all her life and the totality of her illnesses just finally caught up to her and took her from us all. Anyways, I've set up a memorial website for her:

http://shelley.nodtveidt.com/ or http://216.222.241.113/shelley/

Thank you for reading this post.

my god man, that's horrible. I know what your going through, my best friend (grew up with him, literally, for most of my life, knew hime since I was 3 years old), past away two years ago in his sleep from a drug overdose. I don't think I've ever gotten over that. all I can say is- things do get better, eventually. If I was christian, I'd say you'd be in my prayers or something corny ass like that. But I'm not, so all I can say is, it gets better eventually.

I saw this in our AIM conversation, but I cannot express how much I'm sorry. My grandma says my problem is that I have too good of a heart and really care about things, but I see that as a strong point. Things will get better, but lingering on her death isn't a way to live. Remember her as she was alive, and be at peace with her fate. Sometimes you feel like you have to say goodbye, but I'm sure she'd want you to stay happy instead of eternally scarred. Feel better, man.

So sorry... I know what you're going through. Last October my little brother died. I felt like I died that day. But you gotta carry on, hang in there. Remember all the good times, but don't dwell on the pain. Like Ninkazu said, she wouldn't want it that way.

I feel sorry too, my condolences. Also to Locrian and Mandrake. Friends (or family) are not easily lost.

Man if I got my hands on that poster, it would make Texas Chainsaw Massacre look like a children catroon... I'm feeling real angry right now....really there is no words for something like that.....

Thank you all for the kind words and support. Without people's support through this, I wouldn't be able to move on from this.

I deleted the post. Thanks Ninkazu for pointing it out the other day on AIM. I know who it was who posted it, it's no secret to me. His name is Zip, he's a loser from IRC who was once a good friend of mine but is now #1 on my most hated list. He's a self-loathing, "look-at-me-and-pity-me" whiny-ass motherfucker who gets off on making people miserable, including himself. Him and I got into a fight awhile back over his boneheadedness. I told him he was lucky to have a life, because Shelley doesn't. It spiraled out of control from there. He degenerated to calling himself Shelley on IRC, and then saying that he'd rape her corpse. Nice guy, huh?

In any event, I'm about to lose this house. Can anyone loan me a little money? I need to come up with a total of $745 by week's end. I will pay back the money with interest. This was the home that Shelley and I shared together so I really hate to lose it and if I do lose it, then all the sites I'm hosting right now will be lost too, including rpg gold compo 2003.

Yeah...you're looking at me at my lowest point right now. Mourning the woman I loved, and begging for money to save this house. It doesn't get any lower than this. :(

Sorry, I can't help you with the house... that's a whopping sum of money you need there. I can, however, help you out on the hosting part. I don't know what more sites you're referring to but at least the RPG Gold Compo site can be hosted on RPGDX, just tell me what you want the subdomain to be.
