1. It should start around September sometime.

Here's an interesting idea, how about a competition where one person is chosen to write a quick plot outline and post it the day the competition starts, then the competitors all have (X amount of time) to make their own RPG interpretation of the story. This one would be much more open-ended... you can use a pre-made engine, or graphics that you've made beforehand, and no limits on resolution or anything. And since nobody would know the plot before the competition start, it would be an even playing field.

I like writing my own plot. However, some sort of theme would be nice.

Yeah, I vote for it. I missed out on taking part in the first one because I'm doing exams, so I can't wait to take part in the next one. One thing - why leave it till september? I think we should have one much sooner, say like the end on July. I know everyone is exausted from making this one, but that'll only last a few days.

the end of July, maybe... or perhaps, sometime in August... yeah... I don't see why we'd need to leave it until September. Plus, a lot of the kids are out of school at this time, so, it'll make it easier for some of them to join in too.

heh, well if we do it end of july/august, i can't participate, i'm getting married august 10. Unless we do the art compo, but so far it looks like a 98 hour compo is winning, and i just can't sacrifice 2 weekends. *sigh*
